So my last post was talking about how excited I was to see the new episode of HBO’s Real Sex, so I watched! And what did I learn? Quite a few things actually! This particular episode, Stocks down; Sex up, was showing what Americans are doing to spice up their sex lives on a budget. The show, for those of you who haven’t watched before, is broken into segments.

The first segment showed an increase in the number of corporate women who have recently lost their executive positions and are now turning to the entertainment industry to replace their lost income. How are they doing this? Stripping!!! It followed 2 women as they attempt to break into the world of stripping and why they are doing it. The first woman was a high executive who was laid off, and she thought about how much money her clients would spend at gentlemen’s clubs so she wanted to earn some of that money herself! She actually did pretty well, and the experienced dancers showed her the ropes and helped to build her confidence.
